Cloudy, but warm.
A good day again. I had a really hard time getting up this morning but finally did! I showered after I made the bed. I also did a load of laundry. Yay me.
I had a quiet morning at home and then cooked my omelette. It was an ordinary one today. I went off to work, but I stopped at the convenience store to get something for my break. I didn't want to get too hungry.
I was supposed to have 4 lessons today originally, but earlier in the week a student changed her lesson, and today a student had to cancel, so I only had two! Still, I had to be at the school for quite a while. The lessons went quite well. In my second one, the student didn't behave all that well. He decided when we were doing a ball toss that it would be fun to play volleyball. When I objected, he switched to basketball (a bit tough since the ball doesn't bounce) and finally soccer. I stopped the activity and made him do some book work for the rest of the class. Ha! He was angry, but I gave him a chance to behave and he didn't take it.
After my last class, I called Fumihiko and asked him to come and get me. We went to the drugstore on the way home, where I got some cleaning supplies for my school.
When we came home I made up some guacamole and put it in the fridge, then sliced my zucchini. Hubby got all the stuff ready for our dinner. Tonight we had yakiniku at home, and it was great. We had a veggie mix, zucchini, and some lamb and beef. It was nice. We ate enough, but not too much. Often when we go out for yakiniku we eat way too much.
A bit later I put on X-Men The Last Stand and got out the guacamole and some chips that I'd bought tonight. The problem was that the chips were already flavoured so you couldn't taste the guacamole that well. Still, it was a nice treat. I had to turn off the movie about halfway through because Fumihiko was falling asleep and he wanted to watch it. I had to get on my computer too, so I didn't really mind.
And that's about it for my day. Fumihiko just finished his bath and will probably go to bed soon. I should get there soon. I'm just kicking back, listening to Minnie Driver. She's not a bad singer at all. You know who she is, right? The English actress from Good Will Hunting or Grosse Point Blank. I bought her cd on a whim in a second hand cd store and I've been listening to it for ages. I like it.
Anyway, that's it for me. I'm out of here! Night.
