Hot and sunny.
It's unbelievably late as I write this so you'll only get the quick version! Today was good. It was nice to have some alone time at the apartment too.
I went off to work after a nice lunch. I watched some of Corner Gas during my lunch. The one Canadian comedy show that really is funny!
Work was good today. The school was really hot though. I had to run the air conditioner quite high to cool it down. I don't want to see my bill when it comes. Sigh.
Hubby had to work late, but he still managed to pick me up. He came for me at 9:00 pm. I was reading a magazine while I waited. I got my new Empire yesterday.
I came home and cooked dinner. I made a chicken stir-fry that was pretty darn good. I bought a bag of prepared veggies, but added quite a bit to it. I put in some red pepper, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms, and cucumber. I had bought some chicken fingers and stir-fried them first to make sure they were cooked. I took 'em out, drizzled oyster sauce on them, then cooked the veggies. When the veggies were done, I added the chicken back in and stirred well. Yum!
We watched Monk on the TV tonight. It was okay. I like the show, but find Monk's schtick getting a bit old. I like the other characters on the show more than him!
That's it. The fast version. Today was pretty good. Tomorrow? Who knows? Night.
