Sunny and warm.
A pretty good day! I got up at a reasonable time (ie...early enough!) and showered. I watched this morning's The 4400. I enjoyed it.
Fumihiko and I went out for breakfast/brunch to Cocos. It was quite nice. Hubby dropped me off at the school afterwards and he went to do his thing. He had a dental appointment today.
I had two classes today and they went really well. The students are very good, and a lot of fun. After class I washed a few dishes and hubby picked me up. He took me to Milk, a coffee shop near one of my old apartments. We both had tea! I had darjeeling and Fumihiko had assam tea. They were both delicious, but I don't really like having tea without milk.
Fumihiko dropped me off at home while he went to walk his dog. When he came back we talked about going out for dinner. We decided to go to Shimi's restaurant. We had a lovely meal there. We had some sashimi, grilled fish, and some grilled squid. It was all great.
When we finished at the restaurant, we went to karaoke, the one by our house. It was very nice...and they had a lot of great songs that I haven't seen at other places. I got to do Corey Hart's Never Surrender, Tom Cochrane's Life is a Highway, and even Huey Lewis and the News' I Want a New Drug. It was a hoot. We got a bit peckish while we were there and had some tofu, salad and pizza. We also had drink bar.
After karaoke, we came home and watched a dvd. Tonight's film....The Breakfast Club. Fumihiko enjoyed it, and even though I love that film, I was surprised at how well it has held up. I think it's because John Hughes used such common archtypes. It's around 20 years old, but still has relevancy I think.
