Hot and cloudy. Not as humid as yesterday.
Today was a good day, surprisingly! I didn't get up early. I woke up when I was supposed to, but then I drifted off into this dream stage where every ring on my cell phone's alarm was explained away in my dream. Usually it was coming from a little gadget that looked a little like a souped up iPod. I finally opened one eye and looked at the clock. I was surprised by the time, and got up.
I managed to leave for work almost on time, and got there quickly. I changed and checked my set up. When my student came we had a good lesson and I think she enjoyed herself. After her class, I prepped her next lesson, then checked today's child's lesson.
I went out to get something for a snack. I was going to go to a restaurant, but I decided I'd rather hit a convenience store, so that's what I did. I biked off, got some stuff, and then came back to my school and ate.
In the evening I had two classes and they both went well. The first one most times doesn't go well, but today it did. Big surprise! In fact, the student did so well we even had time to do a game. However, I stupidly forgot to give him his homework, so I promise I won't be angry at him if he doesn't do any for next week. Ooops. My second class went as well as usual, with the exception of the NHK man coming back again. I got my student to talk to him for me, and she told him that there wasn't a TV in the apartment. He wasn't too happy to hear that, but it's almost true.
After my classes I did up my paperwork and then relaxed for a bit. I had a cup of coffee, did my dishes and let Fumihiko know that I was done. He came to get me and we went home.
At home he cooked the ginger pork, and I microwaved the broccoli. We had daikon salad too. Everything was very nice. After I did the dishes and then spent the rest of the evening on my computer. I was trying to make a table for a school signup sheet, but it was really difficult for me. I just couldn't figure out how to get TextEdit to do it properly, so I gave up. Sometimes a ruler and pencil work better and faster.....
Anyway that was my day. Not bad at all really. Tomorrow I'll be busy in the afternoon, then I'm not sure what will happen in the evening. I'll tell you tomorrow night. Night!
