September 24, 2007 - Monday

Sunny and warm. Nice day.

Today was a pretty good day in so many ways. We had lunch in Cafe Framboise and it was nice. Then we went to the Chido Museum to see an art exhibit. Fumihiko has a yearly pass and wants to get his money's worth. The art was okay. It really wasn't my cup of tea. The subject of most of the paintings were volcanoes. The paintings themselves were huge.

After a quick trip home, we went to a grocery store where Fumihiko bought way too many junk foods for himself. We took the junk food to karaoke. I had a blast. We went for 3 hours and it was great. I sang a bunch of stuff that I'd never done before. Anyone remember Pop Muzik by M? I also did a medley of show tunes that was a hoot, plus a few of my usual songs. Honestly though, I didn't do all my usual ones, and that was okay.

After karaoke, we came home for a quick visit to pick up my camera disk, then went to the new photo shop near my school. I had my disk printed from my holiday, and Fumihiko had some film developed too. While we were waiting we went to the drugstore next door to look around.

We picked up the photos and then went to Moundon, the Korean restaurant we go to sometimes. It wasn't a good idea. The food as always was great, but there was a big party going on at the same time we were there so it was really noisy to the point of being obnoxious. I'm not sure what it is about drunk women, they are so much more annoying than drunk men, at least in my opinion!

We hit the grocery store on the way home to get stuff for Fumihiko's breakfast and our dinner tomorrow night. Unfortunately, they were out of the veggies I like to use for stirfrying. I did get some asparagus, but I'd need something to go with it.

And that's about it. We came home and spent hours on our respective computers. It was a good weekend, but now I'm feeling a little like I'm getting a cold. I hope not.
