Clear and sunny.
Today was a good day. I'm starting to feel better.
I got up early, watched the news and showered. After that, I started on dinner. I made my pork roast sauce and browned the meat in a frying pan. I put the ingredients together in my slow cooker, turned it on, and basically forgot about it.
I had a quiet day at home. I watched The 4400 again. I think tomorrow is the last episode. It has some really cool things happening that I doubt will be resolved. Too bad.
I headed over to my school a little before 4. I stopped at a bank machine and made a couple of deposits into my business account. I don't like carrying too much cash and I needed my book updated anyway.
Both classes went well today. Sadly, in the second class one of the students finished today. The other student was away too, so it was a little sad at the end.
Fumihiko was a bit late picking me up as he didn't notice my first message. However, I didn't waste the time. I used it to update my financial books.
When we got home there was a glorious aroma filling the apartment. I set the table, got hubby to make coffee and then I put the roasts on a plate and thickened the sauce. I nuked a few frozen veggies too. We had pork roast with a tomato-mustard sauce, daikon salad and mixed vegetables with lime juice. Yummy. I think I did a good job today. We have a leftover roast (I did two because they were tiny) so I'm not sure if we'll have dinner at home tomorrow night or on Thursday.
We had a quiet evening a home, but watched Ugly Betty when it came on. The big guest today was Victoria Beckham. She didn't say very much, but was quite funny. It's a fun show. I have to say that my favourite characters are Mark and Amanda. They are just soooo bitchy!
In the later part of the evening I did some surfing of the web. I finished a book that I got through Bookcrossing.com and I wanted to update the site. Then I thought I should register the book on BookMooch. While I was on BookMooch I discovered a new site that I'd never heard of before, Library Thing. It was fun tooling around the net finding great places to visit. However, when I looked at the clock it was nearly 3 am and I hadn't even started to blog. Oh my goodness. Yikes.
I will be going to bed soon, but I wanted to share the interesting place I found today. I gotta run! The Sandman is far away. Night night!
