Outlining

The hardest and most important part of the toon is the outline. It is the reason that I say try to find a picture that has defined lines.

1. The first step is to create a new transparent layer above the background.

2. Bring up the brush tool and set it to size 3.

3. Then trace the parts of the object that you find promenant.

4. Turn the background layer off (click on the eye icon next to it), and make sure that everything looks okay.

When your done you should have something like this.

If not then go back and fix up the parts of the outline that don't look right. Its not important that they look exactly alike, just that they are similar.
