District Boundaries:

For precise information on your voting district and precinct, call and give your street address to Voter Registration at 915-5440 or click http://www.horrycounty.org/gateway/main.html then click "my neighborhood," click "Submit," type in your street address, click "Submit." click your street address (that appears at the bottom of the dialog box), click "Elected Officials,"  and scroll down for the information.

If you do not live in a district but want to contact that district's voters, or you just want to know the rough boundaries of a district, click one of the following links to individual Horry County Council Campaigns for boundary descriptions and, except for Districts 9 and 10, idealized district maps which help give a quicker grasp of boundaries.  (In some cases, the maps slide over portions of text due to an "undocumented program feature" [bug], and we have yet to find a way to work around the problem.)

You can view more details on district boundaries on the Horry County web site: www.horrycounty.org.  Once there, click "Departments & Services," on the page that comes up, click "Registration & Elections."  in the "Administration" column on the left and on the page that comes up click "County District Map.".  Above the overall county image that eventually comes up, click the number of the district that you want to view and you will see that district in greater detail with its precincts.

Should you want even finer detail, click the back button in your browser to return to the "Registration and Elections" page, click "Voter Precincts" (rather than "County District Map") and select the precinct numbers that you got off the county map.
