Special Projects
This year the Stewardship Committee is ambitiously planning several special projects at our properties and the board has approved funds to proceed. Proposals include installment of a kayak launch on the canal and an observation deck overlooking Hennepin Marsh. If we need to call upon you for help, we hope you'll support these projects with volunteer time or additional funding.
Attention Ford Employees
We've just been notified that the Ford Motor Company has awarded us a mini-grant for $3000 to be part of their Better World-Accelerated Action Day, scheduled for Friday, May 14, 2010. If you're a Ford employee, we hope you'll sign up through Ford's Volunteer Management System to work on our project.
