Order a painting

This is my most preferred medium of art and I always relish doing portraits of people which gives me a great feel. As a matter of fact, I am always startled by the fact that a PENCIL could do such wonders in a piece of paper.  I also admire this medium for the fact that it gives life to the portrait than any other medium. My first portrait was my Dad, which became a stepping stone for me in specializing in this medium. I have presented to you in this page some of my best works in Pencil. The Hero

Pencil on Board - 28" x 22"

Former Prime Minister of The Republic of Fiji - It was indeed a big challenge for me to do this portrait which took more than 23 hours to complete. This work of mine won praise from some of my best critics, who always analyzed my painting to the core. I am glad they came out with 99% accuracy with the actual photograph. Also this portrait gave me an opportunity to spend some memorable moments with the Major General Rabuka himself when he was the Primeminister of Fiji.

Sri Sathya Sai Baba

Pencil on Board - 11.5" x 26"

Also known as the living God, Working on  his portrait was the greatest challenge for me because he has got many characteristic features and especially his hair style was not in my capacity. What I like the most in this sketching is the folded hands of Baba. It took me nearly 18 hours to do this work. This was specially done for my mother who had been asking for his portrait for nearly 3 years.
