"PNG" as commonly called, is very famous for its diverse culture. Also PNG has got one of the worlds best lagoons which means there is no other place in the world, a DIVING lover would go. I have also ventured this a few times here in PNG though not alone, with my family. Yes, just 10 meters away from our unit is a 5 feet deep swimming pool and we would occasionally dive into it. Yeah! no jokes.....

PNG 2002 - National Mask Festival

To simply prove the skill level of the craftsmen here, I have presented to you in this room, a wonderful table which was presented to me by my colleague named Ela Rivu, at Telikom Papua New Guinea during Christmas 2000. The credit simply goes to her brother in-law MANU RIVU who did this exclusive piece. I cannot do anything more, than to just treasure this marvelous intricate piece of handwork.

The significance of this table is that, it has got a collapsible four leg, which has been carved in one single log of wood and the mechanism is too fascinating to see when it folds. Hats of to the creator!
