The meeting began at 8:10 pm.

Order of the meeting Welcome done by Natalya Committee Reports

Fundraising Committee:Derrick Fudruckers Wednesday, Oct.26th 5-8pm meet at Starbucks at 4:30pm 1st meeting fot the committee will be held on Sunday,October 9th at UGL. One of the Events planned is at Jokes on Us Comedy Club. You must be 21 to attend it will be held October 23rd at 7pm

Community Service Committe: Stacy Central Union Missions (Previous Project) DC Festival October 8th from 3-6pm and 6-9pm are the shifts you will be sorting food and supplies, and meet 2pm at Starbucks if you plan on attending Campus Clean-up meet at Blackburn 9-1pm Central Union Missions Saturday,October 29th will be serving dinner for the Homeless 4-6pm

T-shirt Commmittee: Tosha Meet right after meeting to discuss designs because still need t-shirt or hoodie designs submitted. Discussed using Waffle House Design again.

Welcome to the Mecca: Krystal It will held in the Spring and will start organizing in January.

Also discussed at the meeting was the following: Organizational Fair was a good turn out. Volunteers are needed to sit at the table for Peach Date, and an email will be sent out with more information.

Officer Reports: LaResha listed the names of the officers that attened the last E-board meeting

Today at the meeting is the last day to pay $15 dues for the year. Peach Date will be a movie nite October 28th, and there will need to be tabling in Blackburn for it.

Bison to Bison: Krystal Rules and Requirement sheets were available and some people have already been paired up.

GA Week has the seven event names already just needs a theme. We would like any imput or feedback from the general body. We need names for the Relationship Forum and Party. It will be held the first week in March and it will run from a Sunday to Sunday.

The Deadline for t-shirt and hoodie design is October 7th.

Party Grievances from the general body were mainly that they didn't like the music and issue with having to pay when there was supposed to be a discount for paid members.

*Member of the Year

President Keith Laing explained the rules for the Member of the Year contest. He said that members could nominate anyone who wasn’t an officer and who was a paid member of the club. Before taking nominations, he held a vote on making an exception to that rule by nominating Historian Brittani Riddle, on the basis that she had only been an officer for the past month. The General Body approved the motion by a majority vote. After the nominations were collected, Brittani Riddle was selected as the 2004-2005 Member of the Year. President Keith Laing told her that she would receive her certificate at a later date and be invited to the club’s Officers’ Appreciation Luncheon. For more information on Brittani, click here.
