Isao Okawa Will Always Be Remembered

Sega.com reported the sad and devastating news about the death of Sega's father, Isao Okawa.

GBA Units Cutback!

bluebig.jpg (68457 bytes)FGN reported earlier today that number of US GBA units to ship will be cut in half to

500,000. This is for a good cause though as the other half of the shipment is going to the

European launch. I wouldn't worry about not getting a Game Boy on the first day though

as I'm positive Nintendo is sending another shipment shortly there after. We'll keep you updated on the

 latest.

Metroid Advance

The big news from last week was that Ken Lobb announced that Nintendo is indeed making a brand new

Metoid for the GBA and it will be unveiled this May at E3. He also divulged information that Super Mario

3, Yoshi's Story and Super Mario World would be brought to the GBA but slightly different similar to

Super Mario Advance. You can read about this full story at www.ign.com. Thanks goes out to IGN for

 getting this information.

Simply Stunning...

activisionthps.jpg (42432 bytes)Nintendo's new handheld fails to disappoint and continues to impress. The latest gem that

has surfaced is the GBA version of Tony Hawk 2, which runs at 60 fps and parallels the

PSone version in terms of graphics. Each skater is made up of 300 polygons with no facial details for

obvious reasons. We'll give you a hands-on impression of this potential system seller this May at E3.
