General organisation. The guard has a standard organisation. The basic unit is the division which may be armoured or infantry. All divisions consist of 3 brigades. Again brigades are either armour or infantry. All brigades consist of three battalions. Again either armour or infantry. All battalions have standard organisations depending on whether they are armour or infantry Artillery is attached at brigade and and divisional level. while reconnaissance is attached at battalion and brigade.
