The Angel of Eleventh Avenue by Roy Bates
is a tender story
that will soften your heart.
The back of the book reads;
"Katherine has long felt that
faith and hope are out of reach.
But when she is visited by an angel at
her dying daughter's bedside,
Katherine opens her heart to God's love.
While enduring loss and pain,
she discovers that she will
never be along again."

This is the book Melanie found to be
most healing when she miscarried;
"I'll Hold You In Heaven" by Jack Hayford
(Healing and Hope for the Parent
Who has Lost a Child through
Miscarriage, Stillbirth,
Abortion, or Early Infant Death.)

It is a paperback, and it costs about $5.00 USA.
The back says;

I found it to be worded well, not preachy.
I sobbed just reading the title,
and again I wept through each chapter.
It took me a long time to get through,
but I never wanted to stop reading it.
It helped me immensely;
taking me step by step through the grieving process.

Isn't Enough
by Harold Kushner

This book is about the search for a life
that matters. Chapter Four is titled
When It Hurts Too Much To Feel.
Chapter One is titled
Was There Something I Was Supposed
to Do with My Life?

Inner Simplicity
by Elaine St. James

If you need to enrich your life and
nourish your soul this is a great book.
It explains how to smile, laugh, cry,
conquer fears, and figure out the
'big issues'.

Who Dies?
by Steven Levine

Page 21 reads; "We think we are our thoughts.

This author tells us that
we must forgive;

This is a how-to book.

Stories about healing, rescue, warnings
and comfort given by angels.
This book was in response to her
first book titled, A Book of Angels.
People wrote to her to share
their stories about encounters
with angelic interventions
both seen and unseen.

Daily Pathways
by Helen Steiner Rice, 1989.

This book is full of meditations
along with many Bible quotes.
It is broken into seven areas of focus;
hope, peace, prayer, committment,
friendship, faith, and thankfulness

Angels Among Us
by Ron Rhodes, 1994.

The back cover of this book states;
