Fort Bragg Beautiful Ft. Bragg, NC! This is a look at it from the inside. The old World War II barracks were still being used when I went through basic training there. It was amazing how well kept some of the old wooden buildings were. My bunk was the bottom one and my locker was the one on the right. One of the things I liked the most was the songs we sang as we marched or ran. I don't know where any of the guys I went through basic with are now but I can still see many of their faces.
