| A BREIF HISTORY LESSON | Maria went to middle school with Liz and Jess. Maria was never really interested in a guy before Conner that is. She has always felt that her parents care more about her sister than about her. She's smart and beautiful but has trouble accepting it. Most of the time she refers to herself as a nerd. The only reason she startd talking to Ken was because they were paired up for a project. Afterward she confided in him about Liz and Conner. Now there really good friends.
