Wicca celebrates 8 Sabbats per year, the celebration begins sun down the day before the sabbat. All 8 together, make up the wheel of the year, as it is most commonly known. Each sabbat falls on either a quater of the year, the solstices or the equinoxes, or on the cross-quarters, the day inbetween each quarter. These holidays celebrate the cycle of life.
