Federal Route 41 is a north-south route running somewhat along the Lake Michigan shore in northeastern Illinois. It enters from Wisconsin in the northeastern corner of the state and exits into Indiana near Lake Michigan. For much of its length in the City of Chicago, it follows the famed Lake Shore Drive.
