Cute Habits

This is the part dedicated to the cutest little things that the Backstreet Boys do without really, I guess, realizing it. It's adorable, but some get annoying. I'll be adding onto the list from time to time.

1. Brian is always half a beat off when he's dancing, no matter how hard he tries, and he knows, and he'll spend the whole time looking over at Nick or Kevin to see if he's on beat; but he's still of. It's sooo cute.

2. How AJ always says "I'm stuck" about his hair or goatee or clothing or tattoos or anything else about his sense of style. It's hilarious.

3. Nick's little look that's a cross between laughter and disgust. Like, in the videos countdown on MTV towards the end when Kevin was talking about the screaming fans, he had that look.

4. "Hi, we're the Backstreet Boys" in unison at the beginning of an interview. It's hilarious, I crack up every time.

5. Howie's little winks and shaking heads and twitches can be cute at first, but after a while I just wanna slap him and tell him to stop. No offense! I still love him!

6. Kevin's little smile where he scrunches up his face and shows a little teeny bit of his gums.

7. In the "I Want It That Way" video, it is sooo cute how Brian is obsessed with the fact that there's an awesome jet behing them. He is constantly looking at it.

8. Half smile. Nick. Enough said. (I'm melting like butter, you too Megan)

9. How when Nick's singing, he always holds the mike without really touching it when it's on a stand, with his palms up on either side, and he gets really into it and at certain angles, I'd swear he were making out with it.

10. AJ can never sit on the stools. He has to get up. It's a must.

11. Kevin's little dances by himself all through the "I Want It That Way" video.

12. During interviews, when one 's talking, the others'll either look down and nod (Brian), find another bored member of the group to exchange these cute little looks with or tickle their ear with a feather (ha ha, Nick and Brian, MTV news 1515 on the lawn, 'bout the lawsuit), or they'll be looking at the person and nodding (Howie) or they'll be talking (AJ and Kevin).

13. In between lines of a song, Brian can't wait for the rests, he has to say something, like "hello"or "hi." It's cute. I luv it.

14. That look Nick puts on his face when he sings "am I sexual?" Woo hoo!! Sexy man.

15. It's annoying kinda, but it's also really cute how Leighanne is everywhere the boys are.

16. AJ screaming his lines. It's funnie, really really funnie. Surprisingly, I dont' think he's lost his voice doing that yet.

17. Kevin's finger pointing, and going higher with the music, like in "All I Have To Give."

18. All that interaction they have on stage with each other. Nick'll pat Brian on the back, Brian'll high five AJ, it's funnie.

19. This is just annoying, how when they're singing (a capella especially) Howie's falsetto just completely pulls them too high and they sound totally unbalanced. TONE IT DOWN, HOWIE!!

20. The little faces Brian makes at the audience and the camera. He's soo cute. What a cute little baby duck. *muah* Sorry Leighanne, not stealing your man.

21. I found this hilarious yet it nags me cuz it ruins his "image." Brian is CONSTANTLY looking down at Leighanne's boobs. No joke. Constantly just staring at her boobs in pictures. Damnit, I'm sure he gets enough staring time at night, no need to do it in front of the camera, Brian.

22. How when they're singing, AJ will wave his hands to the insturments.

23. In almost every video, one of them (Kev, usually) buries their face in their hands and then looks up in the camera again.

24. The way they match their outfits. It's funnie. Hey, Megan, we oughtta match our outfits one day, just for the hell of it.

25. How Nick and Brian very, very, very seldom talk in interviews. They just kinda sit in the back and look down, nodding to themselves or holding a "exchanging looks" conversation. It's so cute.

26. It's adorable how Brian brings Tyke everywhere with him. But that pretty much translates into that he brings Leighanne everywhere with him too. Translating into he really loves her. Translating into Teresa will have to tell herself repeatedly that she won't get depressed, she's gotten throught htat already.

27. Nick's little "who me?" Mr. I'm-so-innocent look. It's cute. Where he widens his eyes really big. Awww. . .

28. How Brian is constantly keeping his eyes closed when he sings. I'm glad though. He's got beautiful lashes. . . (three things I look for in a man: hands, arms, and lashes)

29. In the "Everybody" video, there's several places, one w/ Kev, one w/ Nick, coupla others where they're mouthing the words to a different part of the song. Stupid director screwed up editing, but that's ok, cuz it was an awesome video anyway.

30. In the "As Long As You Love Me Video" how Brian adjusts Nick's outfit like a big brother before he goes. It's sooo cute. I love him for that. He's sooo cute. I just wanna kiss him. . . Ok, I'm sidetracked.

31. In the "I'll Never Break Your Heart Video" when Nick's sooo sad looking as he pounds against the door/wall. It's soo sad but cute.

32. I love it when they ask a question in an interview, and four of the guys will just subtly point at the remaining guy, and he'll be like, clueless, and finally realize it and be like, "me? Naw, guys, oh man."

33. Nick's daringness to admit to briefs and drinking Mountain Dew. This man's got balls (NS Megan, NS)

34. As some might now, I have deep respect for men who are brave enough to wear pink in public. These guys are brave enough to wear pink on stage. Brian went as far as to wearing a pimp daddy pink blouse type thing w/ a tie and a silver vest over it for a pay-per-view special. This man's got balls too.

35. The little noises Brian makes in interviews and what not. It's really cute.

36. In concerts, they'll each be waving and shaking different fans' hands and stuff. It's so cute how they're so unconcentrated together.

37. Brian's accent. Period. Sooo sexy. Luv it luv it luv it to death.

38. Nick's little voice cracks. It's cute, I think it sounds good like that.

39. AJ rapping. Ha ha, too funnie.

40. The little backstage, behind the scenes videos they've done for MTV are so cute. "I'm sitting on a toilet," AJ. Hee hee hee.

41. When AJ sings really into it, he bends over at the waist and opens his mouth as wide as he can, which isnt' huge. So cute.

42. How they'll all, in unison, hold their mikes out into the audience for them to sing into (like they couldn't hear them already) and put their hands up to their ears.

43. The way they sit on the stools. Brian always has one or both feet tucked onto one of the little rungs or whatever on the stool. Hee hee, sooo adorable. Nick's legs are too long, he just leaves his feet on the floor.

44. AJ gets really excited over really trivial things. It's so cute. "MY BUZZER WON'T WORK!! MY BUZZER WON'T WORK!! AAH!!"

45. When Brian sings a high note (like in "I'll Never Break Your Heart") he pulls the mike away, shuts his eyes real tight and makes that scrunching, I'm concentratin really hard look.
