March Mammals!!

Exciting action in round 1! As the tourney progresses, who will emerge as the odds on favorite to be king of all the animals?? Now for round 2!

Wld Canids vs. Misc!

Wolf

vs.
Dingo

The Wolf out-foxed the Fox in round 1... he pretty much out-everythinged the Fox. Will the Wolf's confidence level be high after this huge Gorilla/Chimp, Raven/Oriole level blowout? The Dingo, on the other hand won convincingly... just not AS convincingly. Taking down the Coyote who is sometimes called the "Little Wolf," is the Dingo now prepared to take out the real thing? Neither animal has a huge size or speed advantage... this may just come down to who wants it more. Will the Wolf get sent Pack-ing, or will the Dingo cry like a baby?

Jackal

vs.
African Wild Dog

Trying to shed it's cowardly reputation, the Jackal made a laughingstock of the Hyena in round the first. The African Wild Dog had a much tougher go of it, fighting tooth and nail with the Dhole until the bitter end. In a close, close match, the African Wild Dog managed to come out on top, but is this virtual unknown prepared to take on the Jackal? On a side notes, this may be the best picture battle of them all... While Jackal may have the coolest picture, African Wild Dog may well have the goofiest picture. Don't let that sway you too much! Despite his Mickey Mouse ears, the African Wild Dog is more than a capable hunter. And the Jackal... Gosh that picture is scary...

Rhino

vs.
Bull

The Rhino pulled out a nice little victory in round one, taking down the gigantic Elephant! The Bull, no slouch himself, took down the Buffalo. I foresee a lot of charging in this match, and I don't mean with credit cards! I think Flanking is the key for whichever horned beast moves on from here. The Rhino has the weight, but the Bull probably takes maneuverability. If the bull doesn't take the Rhino down, then he may have a clear run to the finals, as he is John of the Julio web sites favorite to take it all!! Will the Bull see red? Red Bulls give you wings! A Rhino with wings? I have no idea what I'm babbling about.

Scorpion

vs.
Killer Bees

As stated so eloquently by Greenhell in reference to the round one Widow vs. Scorpion match: "the Cinderella story of the Black Widow ends here." He couldn't be more right, as the Widow didn't have a chance against the deadly Scorpion! However, his opponents are so deadly that they have "killer" in theor name! The Killer Bees took down the Army Ants in round 1 with their airborne superiority. Will they be able to overwhelm the Scorpion, or will his armored hide be resistant to the stings? One thing's for sure... he's need both his claws and maybe an extra stinger for this upcoming brawl!!
