March Mammals!!

Exciting action in round 1! As the tourney progresses, who will emerge as the odds on favorite to be king of all the animals?? Now for round 2!

Cats vs. Dogs!

German Shepard

vs.
Pitt Bull

The well trained German Shepard laid the smack down on Scooby Doo, defeating the regal Great Dane. On the other side of the bracket, the Pitt Bull made short work of the big, jolly St. Bernard. Now we're left with a matchup of smaller dogs... well... relatively. The German Shepard is trained to herd, and often used by the police in the K-9 corps... the Pitt Bull is often trained to fight and kill... Who's training will be more effective?

Mastiff

vs.
Rottweiler

In probably the most exciting match of the first round, the might Mastiff come out victorious against the Doberman, even after falling way behind in the early goings. Will all of the Mastiff's energy be expended when he meets the formidible Rottweiler? The Rott had what everyone assumed would be an easy draw against the wonderful weiner dog Dachsund... but the little weiner actually put up some resistance! So after a taxing comeback, and a victory over such an obvious crowd favorite, will either of these dogs have what it takes to get through this round or beyond? We shall see!

Tiger

vs.
Cheetah

Answering the eternal question of whether or not Exxon was better than MGM, the Tiger took down the supposed king of the jungle in round 1! Hoping to pull a Sigfried and Roy typed act of his own, he will try to make the Cheetah disappear quickly in round 2. The Cheetah does a lot of things quickly, but lose may not be one of them! Defeating the Leopard in round one, the Cheetah is moving at 70 mph right towards the finals... at least he seems to think so. Will the Tiger's superior size and strength be the difference? Then again... speed kills...

Jaguar

vs.
Lynx

The battle of American cats (and old short lived Atari video game systems) continues! The Jaguar proved that it was indeed better than it's smaller cousin the Mountain Lion in round 1... now he moves onto the even smaller Lynx! Lynx is fresh from some surprisingly stiff competition from the house cat... Well, Jaguar is no House Cat... unless Lynx ups his game significantly the Bobcat is going to bob and weave his way right out of this tournament. Jaguar has to be heavily favored in this one...
