I am excited to introduce you to TRUDI BOND: I have read some of Trudi’s stories and Christian-tracts, and have been after her to write for this magazine for a few years now. Trudi is married to Lonnie Bond, who also writes for this magazine. They will celebrate 15 years of marriage, this month; they are a true “love story” both in their life together, and in their love for Jesus Christ. Trudi’s unique writing-style along with her passion to see people find Jesus – and walk in His love will endear her to all readers.  Please welcome with me… TRUDI BOND.

Hello, my name is Trudi Bond. I was born again at the age of 5. I know that seems a little young but, I still remember the experience and where I was when I received Him.  Nobody prayed the pray with me, I was actually sitting alone at a church function when the desire came over me so strongly that I just said: “Jesus I accept you into my heart.”

When I told my mother she was so excited she started telling everyone around me. Since I was such a shy child I thought I could just tell her. But then I felt my ears burning a little because of all the attention I was receiving, that part was a little scary. I was not embarrassed about Jesus, just the fact that everyone was coming up to me and congratulating me.

Now as an adult (I am now 42) I am still a little shy in groups of people but I’m getting better, that’s why I like to write.

My heart yearns for everyone to come to know Jesus the way I do because once you give Him your heart, you can have the confidence to go to Him in all things great and small (Even if you mess up). That’s when you can really appreciate His unconditional love.

Since we live in an imperfect world, life is always going to be a challenge.  People may always fail you but Christ will never leave or for sake you.

Trudi
