FRATERNITY MEETING

The next monthly meeting of Upsilon Omega Chapter will be held February 11, 2005 at 8:00 PM at the New Omega Center, 3900 Goodfellow (63120). You do not have to be financial to attend.

Omega Center

Brothers now that the facility is in use and operational we need to promote the Omega Center for use to the public. The community needs to know that we are here to serve their needs, brothers it is your duty, your obligation to let the public know that we exist. The Management is in the process of putting together the Grand Opening, even though the ball is in motion, we are needed to promote the Center as well.

Mardi gras

Also tickets for next year’s annual Mardi gras celebration are available for purchase through William Munson or Eric Latham. Dance tickets will still available at the financial meeting Friday February 11, 2005. Mardi gras will be held at the New Omega Center.

Brothers we are coming down to the wire for the Mardi gras dance and Raffle, if you have not purchased your tickets/table or picked up your raffle ticket bundle for the Dance, please do so now we would like to have an packed house. Note after the dance brothers, if you have any dance or raffle tickets remaining; please turn them over to a member of the Mardi gras committee ASAP for accounting purposes. We are attempting to increase our scholarship giving quota, your perseverance is needed.

Rhapsody In Black X

Brothers the time has come around again for The Rhapsody In Black X. Brothers we are in the planning stages of the concert, at this time we are urging brothers to make valiant effort to raise money, solicit ads, or provide ads for the souvenir booklet. Brothers this is the Tenth anniversary for this fund-raiser/ celebration. We are asking as many volunteers as possible for this year’s event for more info please contact bro. 2004-2005 Dues Payment Structure

Dues /Assessment payable to the Upsilon Omega Foundation:

$200.00 Housing Assessment (Unless Paid Via Pledge Program)

$480.00 UAW Hall House Dues ($40.00@ Month X 10)

Monthly housing dues paid in increments of $40/month with an $80.00 payment due by/on October 31, 2004

$680.00 Total Payment Due.

General Dues Structure Breakdown

$100.00 National Dues (Life Members Paid)

$35 District Dues

$50.00 Local Dues

$120.00 Housing Corporation Dues ($10.00 @ Month X 12) – This funding is still needed to maintain the current Fraternity House. Utilities, Taxes, Insurance, and minor upkeep still has to happen.

$305 General Dues

$205 Life Members

Note: $200.00 National Housing Assessment if not previously paid.
