in the cause of Allah against those who fight you, but
do not transgress limits. Allah does not love transgressors. [Holy
Qur'an 2:190-193].
According to James Zogby in the Arab American News of 26
January, 1996 there were at the time 175 recorded
incidents of terrorism in the US, since 1982.
Out of these:
77
were attributed to Christian Puerto Rican nationalists
31
were the work of Christian animal rights and Christian
environmental groups
23
blamed on Christian left wing organizations
18
committed by what the FBI called "Jewish
extremists"
12
by Christian anti-Castro Cubans
Only 3
were committed by Arabs or Muslims over this period of 14
years.
Yet the
western media
continues to propagate the message that the majority of
terrorists are Muslims. We never hear about all these other
groups which are also involved in terrorist activities
throughout the world. Why do they have this hatred towards
Islam?
