INDEX
wager10
Roy had a younger brother and a younger sister who both died as young children. He also had a sister that his parents adopted named Marguerite, who married a prominent Jewish man. Roy also participated in the Young People's Society of Christian Endeavor and when he was 16, was sent to Boston to participate in its national convention. He held many different jobs and was a "jack of all trades." In 1927, he finally settled down and worked for Ford Motor Company.
