Bart receives an anonymous letter--written in blood--threatening to kill him. He becomes paranoid, even suspecting members of his own family. In actuality, it is Sideshow Bob who has authored the letter from jail. Now released from prison on parole, he plots his revenge against Bart for having sent him to jail. Sideshow Bob lauches a campaign to terrorize Bart. Homer and Marge seek help from the FBI, which recommends that the family join the Witness Relocation Program and moves them to Terror Lake, a community outside Springfield. Strapped underneath their car, Sideshow Bob accompanies the Simpsons to their new life. Now renamed "The Thompsons," the Simpsons are given a houseboat as their new dwelling. The night the arrive, Sideshow Bob ties everyone up except Bart, sets the boat adrift, and enters Bart's room, planning to kill him. Bart escapes out the window, but is cornered by Sideshow Bob on the edge of the boat. As a last request, Bart asks Bob to sing the entire score from the "H.M.S. Pinafore," during which time the houseboat drifts back to Springfield, where Chief Wiggum places Sideshow Bob under arrest. |
