FROM THE PRESIDENT
First of all, welcome back to Friday Night Pointscore. Hopefully everyone
had a safe and happy Christmas, and a happy new year.
Australia
Day Holiday: Yes we are having pointscore on Australia Day, Friday
26th January. We are still having great difficulty in volunteers coming
forward at our Friday Night Pointscore. I don’t think that it is fair
to have the same people timekeeping each Friday night. We require 2
runners every Friday night, but we are lucky to have one person (usually
the same person). There are plenty of parents who running up and down
the pool, with a stopwatch, timing not only their own children, but
others as well. Please, make it a lot easier for everyone and help out
in an official capacity.
Congratulations to our swimmers
that have been and still are competing at the NSW State Age and State
Open Championship at Homebush this week. I hope that you all achieve
many Pb’s.
Keep watching the notice board
and this newsletter for up-coming activities, including a trivia night
early March, which will be held at the Dapto Leagues Club.
