Sparky
Sparky is a male Spitz Mix weighing under 20 lbs. He is the true "puppy" of the household. Although
he is 4 1/2 years old...he is spunky and quite the
little watch dog. He does not appreciate strangers
coming on to his property...so he has to be watched
when strange men (meter readers, etc.) come into the
yard.
He is very loving to anyone he knows, but
is shy around small children and does not tolerate
them pulling or tugging at him. He loves to be with
people all of the time and loves to curl up on the
couch next to you during the day and at night (if he's
allowed on the bed).

Spooky
Spooky is a very very sweet little
Pug/Pekingnese mixed girl. This little angel
would love to follow you around and kiss you all
day if you will let her. She is what we would call
a "true" lap dog!
She is 8 years old (not
very old for a small dog). She weighs less than
20 lbs. and has has a longer coat ...but she
was groomed with a short cut in this picture.
Spooky just loves everyone and everything (cats and
any person who walks through the door). |

Emma
Emma is a beautiful and intelligent 1-2 year old female yellow lab mix. She is a very gentle girl with a heart of gold.
She is a quiet and calm dog. She is well mannered and behaved. With a little training, Emma could become an excellent obedience or agility dog!
She gets along great with other dogs and does not appear to have a mean bone in her body!
She was left tied to a tree...where she surely would have died had her rescuer not saved her.

Muffin--A Shih Tzu with an Attitude!
Muffin is a sweet 4 1/2 year old silver and white Shih Tzu weighing approx. 14 pounds. She is very outgoing and sweet as can be. However, she is strong willed when there is food around. She does not like to be pulled away from food (especially human food) and will growl when the food is removed or she is taken away from the food.
It is behavior that a knowledgeable and firm owner could eliminate. She had been owned by a older woman in a wheelchair and most likely was permitted to do as she pleased.
When she is not around food (or cats) she is as sweet as can be. She has been used as a therapy dog in assisted living homes, she knows basic obedience, and just loves everyone and has kisses for all.
