Initiation
Initiation into the Brotherhood
of the Sith can be difficult, as one first must somehow come to the attention
of Quersin Jax himself. There are two ways of accomplishing this.
Generally the easiest way is to gain sponsorship from one of the Brotherhood's
senior members. If a prospective student manages to gain such sponcership,
they will be brought before Quersin Jax for his final decision.
The second, and by far the
more difficult of the two is to somehow gain sponcership from Quersin Jax
himself. As the Sith Lord is generally within his citadel or off
planet, the possibility of this occuring is not likely, but it is possible.
Generally, after a small
body of prospective canidates are gathered, they are then transported to
a facility on one of the remote islands on the planet. Here, rudementary
lessons are given and while the students themselves are assessed.
These lessons include minor combat techniques, basic Sith history, and
minor Force techniques. The students are also pitted against eachother
in various contests.
Quersin Jax is the final
arbitrator. When all is said and done, the one who impresses the
Sith Lord the most is the one that is finally accepted for full initiation.
The rest, provided they survive, are ejected from the grounds, not always
in the best of conditions.
Once one gains induction
into the initiate-level of the Brotherhood, they are then transported to
the Twilight Academy to begin their training (see the Twilight Academy
entry for the details of such training).
