Phebe Hill "Phoebe" Barrow

Father: William Barrow
Mother: Amy Lee
Birth: ABT 1751 Brunswick Co.,Virginia
Death: ABT 1827 possibly,Pulaski Co.,Kentucky
Notes:
She is mentioned in her grandfather Barrow's will, where he left her some Pewter. This can be found in "Barrow: An Early Southern Family" by Mae Belle Barrow North, Vol 1 no1/2/3/4 under one cover, 1987", the will being in part 3.
I got some information somewhere saying she died 1830 in Pulaski, Kentucky. However, given the second marriage of John Ferguson in 1828 ["Roster of Soldiers and Patriots of the American Revolution buried in Indiana" Compiled by Roscoe C. O'Bryne, 1939, pg. 139-140], this appears rather non-credible. It is much more likely that she died in Boone County, Indiana circa 1825.
Debbie sent me a descendancy chart on 7/18/97 in which her death was labelled as abt 1827 in Pulaski Co., Ky.

    Mother: Elizabeth [---]
    Birth: 1728 South Hampton,Brunswick Co.,Virginia
    Death: 23 JAN 1817 Stokes Co.,North Carolina
    Notes:
The information about William Barrow, wife, and son came from George Erwin Howell. Research on this branch was actually done by his cousin who lives in Washington, but I don't have her name at this time.
The father of William Barrow is not known. However, I found this record in the Carnegie Library: John Barrow, son of Edward and Elizabeth Barrow, was born 20 Feb 1729 at Farnham Parish, Richmond Co., Virginia. This looks VERY much like a sibling, and thus the connection to his father, as shown here.
Death date in LDS is: 14 Nov 1819.

    Charity Barber

    Notes:
This might be Charity Barber [RIN=20601], b. 6 Jun 1748, Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, dau. of Israel and Comfort (Merriman) Barber. However, this has not been proven, and a 1748 birthdate is considerably earlier than one would expect (compare the birthdates of her children). I would expect a birthdate closer to 1765 for the first wife of Benjamin Briggs.
