The Visitor Center Bookstore located at Gettysburg National Military Park is operated by Eastern National. Eastern National is a not for profit association which provides quality educational products to America's national parks and other public trusts. The proceeds from Eastern National's sales are donated to the National Park Service and other public trusts to support their interpretive programs. The Visitor Center Bookstore has thousands of books and 3-D products to enhance the visitors' understanding of the Battle and the Civil War Era in general. The products provided are quality educational materials and services. Besides books, the store sells maps, posters, prints, videos,screensavers, cd roms, music and a variety of self guided auto tape tours and CDs.Their friendly and knowledgable staff are available to help you make appropriate selections. The visitor will have many categories to choose from, including pre Civil War, the slavery issue, women in the Civil War, naval battles, biographies, arms and equipment, regimental, children's books and a large selection of books just on Gettysburg. At Gettysburg, not only does Eastern National have a bookstore, the also operate the Electic Map Program and the Cyclorama program. They also run a bookstore at the Eisenhower National Historic Site.

On a personal note I will say as a steady customer since August of 1997,I have purchased hundreds of excellent products from the Eastern National Bookstore at Gettysburg. The staff there is just great. Ask them for something pertaining to a certain subject and within minutes you'll have it. But don't just take my word for it. The next time your in town go there and you'll see what I mean!
