ANON 1:
THE MASK
All feeling in abeyance kept,
The mask is on the face serene,
The things o'er which I would have wept
Hid deep within not to be seen.
The door slams shut, is locked, made fast,
Let numbness claim my heart.
The actor takes the stage at last
And hides his tears to play his part!

Caring
I sit and speak the truth to you
Unaltered, unadorned.
The words I say come back to me,
Trampled on and scorned.
The pain I feel is deep within
And there that pain must stay.
Locked up behind a fast closed door
Hid from the light of day.
And yet the truth I still will speak
My soul I’ll still lay bare,
My love allows for nothing less
It’s how I show I care.

- JONATHAN, PARAMOUNT POETRY: My work is here. I`m not in the habit of holding back. Powerful and crazy - I try to strike a balance!
- TRACEY CLIPSHAM: The typical `poet who didn`t know it`! Tracey sceptically showed one piece of work to P.P....and just take a look at the breathtaking poetry she produces now!
- BIZZY SENIOR: Another new poet benefitting from PP encouragment, Bizzy shows us how powerfully emotions can be expressed through poetry.
- SIMON DODGE: He`s crazy, and he writes poetry...check out the explosive results here!
- HELEN EAMES: A bit of competition eh?! Helen is a member of my English Literature course...looks like they`re teaching us well! See what you think.
