CREATIVE SOLUTIONS

(Commentary by Mitch Carter)
A form of creativity that everyone can participate in is creative solutions. When you engage your heart, you see what’s wrong in the world. Through the integration of the brain, and its creativity, and the heart you come up with creative solutions.

There are many kinds of creativity. The main one is art. Art has had a tremendous influence on mankind. There is also creative marketing, like when John D. Rockefeller, as documented in "The Prize", looked out at the world and saw that whale oil was growing scarce from its use as fuel for lanterns and getting expensive.

He saw he could market the newly discovered thick, black, crude oil and bring cheap fuel to people all over the world to light their lanterns. He planned it out and then put his plan into action.

Creative solutions are attained by focusing on the friction in the world; the suffering. Through learning about the world you develop an understanding of a problem that causes suffering. You imagine a solution to that problem. Then you develop a plan that puts that idea into action.
