ABHILASH NAIR


Abhilash  from  Changanacherry, and  bred  in  Muscat ,Oman.   Uncle
Abhilash  ( for  reasons  unknown  the  nickname  has   stuck  on ) was
the earliest  inhabitant  of  Priya.

A  meticulously  organised  and  hardworking  soul, uncle is the ultimate
in  NO-NONSENSE  stuff - a  trait  that falls  to  ridicule in the light of
his  trademark  laughter  and  his  fondness  for   Turkish  Towels.

Though  considered  an  "excellent singer"  ONLY  by    Shibu.P.Mathews
( in his finer moments )  uncle's  room was a veritable music box.   However,
his exploits at  serious  singing  had  been  confined  to a   couple of group
songs. In  1997, he was  blessed  with red  planes n' fast  cars - a  ZEN.

Among his other passions were:
SPORTS: He  was  one  of  the  founding  fathers  of   the  Sports
Movement  at  Priya - starting  initially with cricket,  moving on to
28, badminton  and  finally  carroms.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES:  He'd drive miles to fulfill this passion.

All said n' done, Abhilash Nair was one of the solid pillars of Priya
and  undeniably, its   FIRST  CITIZEN.
