MANOJ DIVAKARAN NAIR


Manoj  from  Guruvayoor, brought  up in  Sharjah, KRP  ( sorry,we can't
expand that )  was  one  of  the  founding  fathers  of   the   "workers"
movement  of   Priya.

With  home  too  far  to  go  to  every  week ( though  that was known to
happen  occasionally ! )  KRP  had  enough  time  on   his  hands to pursue
wide - ranging  interests,  which  put  him  in  many   an  awkward
situation - from  boating  to playing violins, hoisting flags ( KRP !!) and
even  being crowned -  "Rev.Fr.Divakaran".

But  even  his  film-crazy  mind  could  not  have   dreamt  of a  plot  as
twisted  as  the  1994   College  Elections, that  had him pitted for the
post of  Magazine Editor against......  well, nobody.   So   studies  took a
back seat as  Priya  became  magazine office ( ie, after election office
and  before strike  office ) to facilitate the magazine    "Odyssey".

And so,  whether it be  his  poster - ridden room, his    "long walks to
ignorance",   his  pre-test  10-minute catnaps,  his overuse of "Okay  Da",
KRP  was  the  true  WORK-horse  of  Priya.
