Shibufrom Attachakkal, Konni. This colourful character is
affectionately called as  "Patta". Blessed with an intense desire to be
acknowledged as a  "chetthan", this kingmaker's friends represent
every class of the society.

With high hopes ("beating up"  Syam) and desires ("Bobottising" one of
the professors), Patta's entry into Priya was synonymous with the
birth of "olam" in the lodge.T hough his "affair" (THE WEEK OCT
19-26) with the bee didn't materialise as expected, his "heart had
been still beating" for her until his "labour" of love bore fruits from
a different quarter.

Many calculations,  hasty retreats, interventions (thanks Olappan !!) and
father-son relationships finally culminated in his marriage to Anju
Mary Varghese. But it is rumoured that he still keeps links with his
sons-by-chance: Jimmy mon n' Shafi !

Even today, he remains  "a little naughty too". No Priyan will ever
forget his "spirited" speeches( lifted from life-changing films
like "Uppukandam Brothers") and his special "streak" of talent. He
was one person you could trust to keep a secret -
UNTIL he met the next living soul. 

Though evidence is scarce, all at Priya assume that
"Shibu oru chetthana" - "allae?".
