SECONDARY PRIYANS

SECONDARY PRIYANS

A few words about these equally crazy young men who just fall a
little short on time at Priya:

MATHEW GEORGE:
Matthai from Kumbanad was the master of such classic jokes as  "There he is..",  "New style..", "Flatoo..",   "Friend squared" and "Mayavathi", most of them falling on Siby n' RPU.  A food freak, he nursed IAS aspirations only to shift to his role models - IPS. Renowned for his autonomic "control" in tense
situations, Matthai finally left the lodge on "spiritual" grounds.

SIBY JOSEPH:
Somadatta - the enterprising "young" man from Kalamassery aspired to be a jack of all trades. From poetry to yoga to karate, this "guiding light" of Priya had dabbled in it all. Sivappa was also famous for his  "iron will" in front of Shareefa Beevi madam and his post-exam haircut. Truly, a Gangai Konda
Cholan.

THOMAS JOSEPH:
From Pala,Thoma was the Bible quoting madman who turned into the wildest class rep of the '92 batch. Known for his proficiency in English, ("Is,Is,Is...",  "Got it..",  "Come on, sit here more..",  "Bye the bye...."), Thoma was often made to believe mundane things like collection of samples of CSF from skull n'
infusion of anticoagulant to collect an anti coagulated blood sample. But this   "German Sheppaard's" moment of glory came in the campus poll of '94 when he "led" the batch to victory.

SATHEESH IYPE:
From near by Thiruvanchoor, Satheesh had a short stay at Priya - final year n' entrance preparations. He'd spend most of his time studying in the room with Ebby except, when of course the latter had his Dul-Dul time.

EBBY GEORGE SIMON:
Another late entry at Priya, this very religious man would have everything planned out in advance, only to get "dul-dulled". Be it his 5 minutes of music time, 3 minutes of joke time, hours of water time at Trivandrum or his 10 minutes of sex time on alternate Saturdays, there was always a time for everything.

SUDHEER KS:
An import from Calicut in 1994, Changathi(a.k.a KMA) led the "28" movement at Priya. With his scratching walk and animated descriptions of elephants and Trissur Pooram, KMA was a lively soul. His leadership capabilities were on full display during the '95 strike. In addition, he had a "clearcut" idea about everything under the sun eg:stool concentration methods, fissures etc. Also
recall his famous joke: "Pattikku pooda.............".
"Athu eanginaeundu?".

JAYACHANDRAN.R:
This "yaeman" from Changanacherry was a serious and studious chap who liked to stay out of trouble only to have it following him. Bad food n' "lawlessness" finally forced him out of the lodge.

BENNY PAUL M:
Fussy Bennichan from Aluva was another no-nonsense person except when he'd get weird on an exam eve. With a band to hold his glasses above his nosebridge and a tendency for violent shoulder exercises, this peculiar character moved out with Jayachandran in 1993.

MANO JOSEPH:
Mano from Changanacherry was a connoisseur of good food n' body painting. "GIT" was "expected" to stay on but for some reason,he moved out to hostel. "Egskuuse meee...." !!!
