The new house, page 46

5/4/04: Stan Tenbusch installs the septic tanks and all of the necessary piping.  Indoors, the plumbing is finally 95% done.  I still have to run about half of the PEX supply lines, but that is simple, compared to sweating the copper.

Raymond dumped some of the extra dirt up by the house to create a flood barrier.

He spreads out the piles to make them disappear.

Stan Tenbusch prepares to dig for the septic.

Where there Bobcatis parked is where the tanks will go.

They have to work around the brick mason's scaffolding.

The septic tanks arrive from Hartford Concrete.

The perimeter drain for the leech field was installed today, as well.

Here's another angle. They still have some on the south side to dig.

Here is the four inch septic main coming out of the house.

The line turns to the north and goes to the tank.

Stan is digging the large hole for the 1250 gallon sludge tank.

With the hole completed, Mr. Roberts from Hartford Concrete lowers the tank to it's final resting place.

Stan checks the placement of the tank. The near hole is the inspection port.

Here comes the second tank. Stan dug this hole after the first tank was set.

He checks the sencond tank (1000 gallon dosing tank) for level.

The master bedroom walkin closet door.

The mechanical room is coming together.

All of the water system is functional, except for the flexible lines that are not yet installed.

We decided to add another electrical panel. We used up the first one.

Here is the septic pipe on the inside.

The manabloc tubing fits nicely in the joist openings.

The sump pump is plumbed in permanantly.

The hall bath receives cement board and is ready for tile.

Some of the interior doors are painted in preparation for hanging.
