This photo shows one of my front ends completed . At this stage of the game you can double check your trail and if any adjustments need to be made, nows a good time to do it. If you are satisfied with everything, now you can add a small tab to the top of your rocker to mount the bottom of the shock. Then you just let the shock lay back to the fork and add a tab there for the top mount. Usually if you are using a med weight shock, you should line up the shock so its about parallel to the forks. That will usually give you pretty good action. I start by just tack welding the top tab in place until I can test it a little before I weld it down good. You can always make changes later if things don't work like you want it too. Thats the best part about a Leading Link front end, you can adjust it by just drilling a new hole for your forks either forward or back to fine tune your steering. There you are, one Leading Link front end ready to be fitted with your lights and whatever else you might want there. Of course, I did add the bail around behind the tire on this front end to complete it.
