The Beginning of the Creation:

After Lihters, Humans, Opiros, B², 1110110110101111, V'As'Ta'R and Q<RE-Ô had established contact with each other an idea was born of a unified front. One that would stand together against whatever they may find out there. At first, the idea wasn't to make a "unified race" so to speak, but rather a sort of military alliance between the races, as well as sharing of technology. But the idea of a United Federation came into being. Some of the races viewed it as a rather bad idea and something that would surely collapse after a decade or two. Lihters, Q<RE-Ô and 1110110110101111 were confident that it would work. They were able to first get Opiros, B²s and Humans in and soon after, the V'As'Ta'Rs as well. The United Federation of Planets was born and the Federation council was born. The council was placed on Earth, the President's office on Lihter and the unified military called Starfleet was born. At that time the Starfleet consisted of every member races' ships, but after the founding of Starfleet it begun building only its own ships with combined technology from all the member races. Later the member races' fleets were almost completely decommissioned. Some quarrels came inside the Federation, but nothing big. Few new minor races soon joined and were granted full membership, although some of the first member races did have a lot lesser power, even in their own affairs.

The First Contacts:

The first contact with a major starpower came with the Gigerdians. And from day one the Humans were the ones dealing the most with the Gigerdians, maybe due to the fact that both species had a lot of in common, at least then and nowadays. Gigerdians also grew special relations especially with the Humans. Thus the relationships between the UFP and Gigerdi Federation were warm from the beginning and soon became even warmer. Non-aggression pact and trade treaty were almost instantly signed. Research treaty soon after that, and open border trade then next. A lot of trading and exchange of technology took place. Didn't take many years for the military alliance to be formed and soon after that a full alliance. This enabled citizens from both sides to enter the other's space freely. Thus a lot of people, especially Humans, departed from UFP space and headed to Gigerdi space. A lot of Gigerdians also headed from the Gigerdian space to UFP space, mostly to colonies that had the most amount of Humans. The UFP expanded and welcomed more new species in it. The next bigger first contact was with the Vemrers and through them with the Folans. Neither of them accepted any negotiation requests. Not long after the first contact both the Vemrers and the Folans begun their attacks against the UFP. Gigerdi Federation immediately came to assist the UFP. Because of that the attacking Vemrer and Folan fleets were quickly driven back. The war was short and soon a peace treaty was signed. Later connections were Hemmoians and Bacterians, mostly through Gigerdians.

The Era of Peace Station And the Great Wars:

Then came the time of the Peace Station. The idea of the Peace Station was well welcomed by the UFP as it had same ideals as what they did, so they supported it. Next came the Gorg war, which was the first large scale conflict in which the UFP was involved. The Gorg war wasn't successful until the shield weakness was found on the Gorg ships. After that the Gorg forces were completely wiped out. But peace wasn't something that they could find as the Bacterian conflicts arose. Although these conflicts were little of consequence to the UFP they still offered aid to the Gigerdians. The next big war was the Dominion war. This was the most difficult and the biggest one ever to have been fought; it also lasted longer and more intense than any other conflict. The Gigerdian secession war also begun at the same time. The UFP pretty much sided with the Mad Gigerdi's side, but still didn't involve themselves in any of the conflicts; rather they tried to convince both sides to find a peaceful solution. Finally, both the secession war and the Dominion war ended pretty much at the same time; at the end of the Peace Station-era.

Times of Change:

After the time of the Peace Station came the the last Bacterian war. The UFP assisted the GA somewhat in that war. Next in turn was the civil war in the Gigerdi Alliance. The UFP sent some ships to assist Nix Balmorra against President Rubek's forces. In the ending days of this Civil war rumors of some unidentified ships attacking all over the galaxy begun flying around. No one believed that it could be some new powerful race so everybody laughed at this "Great Lightness". However, when the real attacks started the laughter quickly ended and huge mobilization of the fleet was made. The war started badly and all the fleets the UFP sent against the Lightness forces were completely destroyed. The GA and UFP made some unified attacks against the Lightness which proved successful. Finally after few months of big defeats some good victories came and things started to look brighter. Still, the war didn't go well. However, later a peace treaty was suddenly offered by the Great Lightness and of course all the races agreed to it as it is unconditional.

Recovery And New Threats:

Next was the IPA conflict that arose between the GA and the newly found Interplanetary Alliance. UFP decided to remain neutral, but once again advised both sides to try and solve this through peaceful methods. It didn't work and the GA begun its attack, which soon escalated into an intergalactic war. The IPA also contained colonies that have separated from the UFP during or after the Lightness war. The UFP council had agreed on allowing them to become independent systems like most of them had been before joining up. Finally after some time the GA-IPA conflict ended and peace treaty was signed. But peace was not something that people would get yet...

The Emissary Threat And New Frontiers:

The IPA constructs two new state-of-the-art cruisers with first one weaponry. The IPA then learns that a previously unknown species, the Emissaries, are planning to attack both Gigerdi Prime and Aldaain. The Emissaries have already persuaded the DHR to make a diversionary attack on Aldaain, and so the Emissaries helped by the Daglians attack Aldaain. Aldaain's surface is badly damaged, but the Hfed forces manage to destroy the attackers. Some sort of the plague was released to Aldaain and then spread throughout the Hemmoian collective. Another invasion fleet is heading for the Gigerdi Prime and all nearby GA forces are quickly scrambled to defend G-prime. UFP also mobilizes its fleets and sends them to GP. After a terrific battle, they emerge victorious. It all comes with a price, The Emissaries destroying a full Continent from G-prime and releasing a deadly virus to the galaxy. IPA sends the I.P.A.S. Valiant along with the G.A.S. Exploreison and the I.P.A.S. Exploration to search for the cure in the Andromeda and nearby galaxies. Five years they have time to find it, but will they find it in time to save the galaxy and the first ones? Only time will tell...
