Nine days. These days have flown by. Strange. ^_^
Some questions about FRACTURE have popped up. The price is $2.75 for ALL four short stories. I can see the confusion with how the site is laid out, so I'm going to (hopefully) fix it and clear up the confusion.

Wicked has been nominated for another award! Yea! Thanks to Clarissa for nominating Wicked for "Best Series" at the Primordial Souls Awards.

Before I go into the update information, I want to share a link with you. Last Tuesday I was watching CNN and saw the producers of this documentary called "STOLEN CHILDHOODS". The film is about world-wide exploitation of child labor. The information and footage moved me in a way I haven't felt in long a time. Being a mother, the thought of any child having to live the way so many children in this world do is soul-breaking. My mother was a victim of child labor exploitation in Central America and so the knowledge of it happening is not new to me.

However, I got caught up in my life, as so many of you do. I thought of child labor in terms of, "I'm so glad I live in a country, and a life in this country, where my sons don't have to work to eat." But I didn't make it a point to find out how I could help.

Perhaps you already donate to a charity or cause close to your heart. That's fine. However, I still urge you to visit this site. Perhaps you will find room for another charity or at least be able to pass along the information to someone else.

I can only hope that the plight of these children move you as they did me.

A month goes by way too fast. I've spent the last two weeks busting this update out and I just could never find a good spot to stop. Of course, what does that mean? By the time we get to the REALLY juicy part, I sputter out. But temporarily, my friends. As of this morning I've typed up two more pages. So don't be surprised if another update comes quickly after this.

Because I own the rights of the book and the publisher does NOT do e-books, that is something I would like to develop soon. It has been such BULLSHIT that it's taken me so long to get back. A lot of what has happened in the last three months has been great, but not the problems I had with my laptop. Several months ago I was invaded with spyware, trojans, worms, and all this other shit that eventually made it so that I couldn't even stay online. And if I was online long enough, I couldn't open any of my mail nor could I send any mail.

Being a stubborn girl, I thought, "Hell. I have a CIS degree. This is supposed to be my area. I don't need no stinkin' help from anyone. (sigh) That was wrong. However, with outside help I am finally able to be back online.

If you sent me e-mail: I AM SO SORRY THAT YOU NEVER RECEIVED A REPLY FROM ME! I'm not that rude, really! I love getting feedback, questions, comments, etc. and I am always committed to getting back with you guys ASAP. So from here on out, we should have no more problems communicating! I promise!

On to other news...

I moved into my new house in July (a few weeks after the close date) and I'm pretty happy with my digs. I've got tons of wallspace to paint---no more freakin' white walls for me, baby!---and a yard to landscape. That part is a little bit of a challenge. Living in an apartment complex for so long, you get used to landscapers. Now we have to do it on our own. But it'll be fun.

Also, I got married on September 12. My husband and I have been together for ten years and we have two children but we finally decided it was time to commit. ;) Weird. I know.

I tell you what---this has been the hardest update I've written in I don't know how long! I can't believe how long it took me to finish this chapter. (Looking down at last posted note.) Another week? (Snort) I was so wrong. But the chapter is done and what is coming next is something some of you have been waiting five years for. I was definitely a little sad with the end of this chapter. The Sunnydale Arc is coming to an end. (Sigh)

Normally I call myself a shit after this much time has passed, but this time I won't. Why? Because the first two-and-half weeks I was consumed with work-stuff. That's why. :) But after I was done, I was back on this chapter. My original goal was to only post once the ENTIRE chapter was done. Tonight I looked at what I had and thought, 'It's going be at least another week for me to be done. I can't let this thing go a month without an update. So here I am.

Okay, tonight's update is a little bit on the bigger side. First, I have a fic entitled "Obsession Consumes All That Remains" by a new authoress named Angela. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. It's so necessary to the story, but the formatting is a pain in the ass and it looks like crap on the screen because of the black background and font. However, it looks so nice when I paste it into Word. Maybe that's why I'm being so stubborn and keep doing it?

Chapter 30 was based on Buffy's point of view. Chapter 31 was based on Angelus'. This chapter will be a melding of both points.
