Here I am going to bring up all the cool stuff that I've either been e-mailed about or caught myself. If you caught or heard another idea from Goblet of Fire or any other HP book please E-Owl Me!
Fawkes is the colors of gryffindor, if im not mistaken.
and in the second book, she came to the chamber of secrets with the sorting hat, which i beleive is Godric Gryffindor because harry pulled Godrics sword out of the hat and JK said that something in the books is not what it seems to be. so i pieced those two clues together to come to the conclusion that Godric gryffindor is the sorting hat, and that is why it was chosen to help him fight against slytherin because, as you may recall, godric hated slytherin and vise versa.
anyway, now im starting to suspect that fawkes fits somewhere in this puzzle, as well because she has gryffindor colors and helped, as well, fight against slytherin. and since pheonix's are reborn from there own ashes when they die, godric could have transformed himself into a phoenix hundreds of years ago and kept being reborn.
so it is one of the two that is godric gryffindor, of course, im leaning more towards the sorting hat. the phoenix could have just been a coinincidence because dumbledore said in the second book, when he was being suspened as headmaster while harry and ron were in hagrids cabin in the invisibility cloak watching, that help will be given to any hogwarts student who asks for it.
i dont know if anyone followed that...
1) Harry's parents lived in Godric's Hollow when they were murdered.
2) When Harry goes to buy his wand, he waved his wand around and RED AND GOLD sparks shot out of it! As we all know, those are the basic colors of Gryffindor House
3)And the final point, is that when Harry pulled Godric Gryffindors sword out of the sorting hat (whose previous owner was none other than Godric Gryffindor himself), Dumbledore said that only a true Gryffindor could have pulled that out of the hat!
And pertaining to the remark on you website about the look of triumph on Dumbledore's face after Harry told him that Voldemort had Harry's blood in him after the ceremony that brought Voldemort back to life... This could mean that unbeknownst to Voldemort, the Dark Lord has the blood of Godric Gryffindors in his veins!!!!!!!!!!!! What could this mean for the future???
"i think that harry can somehow be related to godric griffindor... the reason for this is simple...
and i read im an interview with J.K. that james potter inhereted his fortune juss as harry did. could it be the fortune of godric griffindor that was passed down to his decendents i mean he had to have alot of gold to be abble to travel and build a castle and we never heard anything about james side of the family could harry posibly be a relative of griffindor
i also was thinking that harry may be a relative of dumbledor but then i came to my sences ... if this was true then harry would be living with dumbledore and not the dursleys
also i think that fawks may have been godrics bird ... my reasoning is because fawks is red n gold the colors of griffindor house and also he can be reborn so we never really know how old fawks accually is he could as well be originally godrics bird... this therefore explains why fawks helped harry with salzar slitherins serpent since griffindor and slitherin were enimies and fawks also took the sorting hat to harry fawks must have known its power for harry to get the sword how else would he have known to bring it unless he knew and if he knew he must have seen godric put the sword in the hat in the first place
also if harry is godrics decendent then he has the same blood as him so then in the fourth book when voldemort took harrys blood the blood of godric is now in voldemort aswell so and if voldemort is an ancestor of salzar slitherin then he has blood of two enimies mixed in his body and im sure that cant be a very good thing. but im not completely sure about this but there is a posibilty."
But Wait! There's more!
Hello, I do not believe that Harry is Godric's Heir. Reason being, one of Mrs. Rowling's reoccurring themes is that you are what you are not because of your blood. As for Godric being the Sorting Hat or Fawkes it is possible, but I am however skeptical about this. And lastly, I think, and I didn't think this before, that it is entirely possible that Fawkes once belonged to Godric, and was passed down to Albus, and atwist, to this theory, could Albus possibly be Godric's heir, foreshadowing the reasoning for You-Know-Who loathing him as much as he does. Oh and my evidence of Godric not being the Sorting Hat is that he would be extremely ancient, moreso than even Albus. The reason that he couldn't be Fawkes is that this was supported was with the color of Fawkes's plumage, it says in "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them", and I quote, "The Phoenix is a magnificent, swan-sized, SCARLET bird with a long GOLDEN tail, beak, and talons.

NEW DEVELOPMENT! Priori Incantatem
I've gotten a lot of e-mails about this. At the end of Book 4, Dumbledore explains that the Priori Incantatem charm spell will make the people who have been killed by a wand come out of it, starting with the most recent, and so on. It is said that Harry's father was killed by Voldemort first, then his mother. However, when the spell is made, Harry's father comes out before his mother (indicating that Harry's father was murdered last instead of first by Voldemort).
Was this a mistake? Or does it mean something? If so, what could it mean?
.........
The Bad News...
The New Development is that sadly, it was a mistake in the book. New printings of Goblet of Fire have changed the wording of that particular passage.
The Big Controversy- Mrs. Figg!
A lot of people have e-mailed me and speculated about Mrs. Figg, and her involvement in Book 4. If you haven't already caught it, here's whats creating the stir:
In Book 1, we learn that Harry has had to go to Mrs. Figg's house every time the Dursleys go on a fun trip. She's described as "a mad old lady who lived two streets away.....made him look at photographs of all the cats she'd ever owned."
Now go to Book 4, and near the end when Dumbledore is speaking to Sirius:
" Sirius, I need you to set off at once. You are to alert Remus Lupin, Arabella Figg, and Mundungus Fletcher (someone who we have only heard of a few times).
Is it possible that old Mrs. Figg, the mad old lady, is really a witch? This is the debate. It might also shed some light on why Dumbledore seems to think there is some sort of protection around the Dursley's house. If she is a powerful witch, as it is kind of suggested in Book 4, it is odd, however, that in Book 1 she is described as using crutches. Is she a witch? Or was this simply a mistake in using the same name twice by Rowling? She is a Mrs., but I don't think Arabella is a man's name. Also, here's something to think about:
********** NEW IDEA on Mrs. Figg***********
Here's another thought......is it possible that perhaps Mrs. Figg is Harry's Secret Keeper? This would be another possible explanation for the protection around the Dursley's house.
Here's the message I recieved from on their opinion over the Mrs Figg Controversy:
I noticed that in your Ideas About Future Books section, you thought that Mrs. Figg was the witch Arabella Figg, but I don't think so. This is chiefly because, remember in Book I, when everyone on the Muggle streets and in the Leaky Cauldron was so nice to Harry? If you remember, Mrs. Figg was never that nice to Harry, and the best thing that she ever did for him was give him stale cake. I think that Mrs. Figg has a sister or cousin or something that's a witch and either she dosen't pay much attention to her relative or is like the Dursleys were toward the Potters with her magic relative. Something like that seems more possible than Mrs. Figg being Arabella Figg to me. If the two Figgs WERE the same person, Mrs./Arabella Figg would have to be a outcast witch or something in that league, but what would be gained by not being nice to the boy who caused Voldemort's downfall?
Anyway, that's my opinion, and I would like to present my compliments to you on your website. It's very informative and very well scripted. Keep up the excellent work! : )

More on Mrs. Figg...
Under future book rumors I read the theory that Mrs. Figg is Harry's secret keeper. This cannot be because as the Potter's secret keeper, Peter Petigrew was the only person who knew their whereabouts. The first book opens with Dumbledore, Professor McGonagall and Hagrid at Privet Drive. Also, Ron, Fred and George went to Privet Drive in the enchanted car and the Weasley's also arrived at Privet Drive via Floo Powder to take Harry to the Quidditch World Cup. I do agree that Mrs. Figg is the same person Dumbledore refers to when he sends Sirius on his mission at the end of the fourth book. Maybe Mrs. Figg was sent to Privet Drive to watch over Harry incase you know who figures out where he is in the Muggle world. I can understand her not being nice to Harry, she wouldn't want to have blown her cover before Harry was told he was a wizard.

Professor Dumbledore's Future
There has been a lot of ideas on what is going to happen to Professor Dumbledore. If he is, as it is implied in Book 4, going to go against the wishes of Cornelius Fudge, then something is bound to happen. Most people think that one of two things is going to happen.
The first, and the more depressing, is the Dumbledore will be fired, and forced to work kind of undercover in the fight against Voldemort.
The second, and the happier outcome, is that Fudge will be fired, and Dumbledore will become Minister of Magic.
What do you think? Or perhaps do you have an entirely different idea on what will happen?
ALSO- What about the look of triumph on Dumbledore's face after hearing that Voldemort could touch Harry, and that Wormtail used Harry's blood and brought Voldemort back to life? It doesn't seem very likely that he's crooked. Do you think there may be some significance that Voldemort is not aware of in him having Harry's blood???
Professor Snape's secret task
At the end of Book 4, Dumbledore instructs Snape on some sort of mission he mus go on. It's never made clear what exactly it will be. Do you think it is, as Harry predicted, to go undercover as a Death Eater?
When Voldemort observes two missing spots in His circle, he says that one was too cowardly to return, and one he thinks he has lost forever. Who do you think he was talking about? Perhaps the coward Karkaroff, and the one lost forever Snape? Or the other way around? Or something different entirely? The reason I say this is, if Voldemort believes that he has lost Snape forever, it would be very suspicious for him to pop up and say he was a Death Eater again. What do you think about all this? Do you think maybe that Snape has an entirely different mission? If so, what? Think about this too.
The Marauders Map
What will become of the Marauders Map? Crouch mentions it near the end, but no more is said of it. Will Dumbledore take it? If so, what would he use it for? Is it possible that Harry could get it back? How, and for what purpose? Think about this....
Fleur's New Teaching Job
At the end of Book 4, Fleur Delacour says she is going to try to get a job at Hogwarts next year. Does Hogwarts have assistants, or is it possible that Fleur may get an actual teaching position? If so, what? Maybe the Defense Against the Dark Arts job? Or do you think that she will be turned down?
Other tasks, including the Giants
It seems pretty clear that Hagrid and Madame Maxime will be trying to get the Giants on the side of Dumbledore. Do you think that they will be able to? Also, what other tasks do you think may take place in Book 5 in the fight against Voldemort? Do you think that Voldemort will be able to break open Azkaban, and regain his followers, along with the Dementors?
