These binoculars have a 10x optical zoom and a 200x digital zoom.

They also have both infra-red and night vision capabilities, as well as image enhancement software.

This EVA suit is the standard armour for the Marines in hostile environments. The life-support systems are capable of operating for upto twenty four hours.

The suit is coated in a special material which is resistant to moderate phaser fire. The coating works in a similar way to ablative armour used on Starfleet vessels, with each layer disintegrating under phaser, leaving the layer underneath intact.

This modified version of the standard EVA suit was designed to be used in high pressure environments. To aid with movement in these kinds of environment, all the major joints are powered using servo motors and the suit has a shield system.

Utilising an oxygenated liquid to supply air to the wearer, this suit can operate in environments with pressures upto 5,000 millibars or five atmospheres. However, this suit requires specialist training to deal with breathing using an oxygenated liquid system.

Because of the power requirements for this suit, the power pack is only capable of providing life-support for six hours.
