I whisper your name, o mysterious god,
Four letters, so simple and plain.
Your force, your weapon all covered with blood,
Your power, anger, and pain.
You're worshiped and feared, it was long ago,
Your army had swept through the land,
You once were considered unbeatable foe,
But everything comes to an end.
I wonder sometimes what you felt deep inside,
When your plans and your dreams were destroyed.
Did you realize you've accepted as a guide
The feelings you've tried to avoid?
No matter what happened you followed your way,
You lived by the rules of the war,
But I have no reason to blame you today,
You aren't the same anymore.
You've changed as the years of fighting passed by,
The mortal had challenged your skill.
You did understand the fear to die,
And conquered desire to kill.
Through distant realms of the magical place,
Through years that kept you apart
You've searched for the fateful familiar face,
You followed your chosen, your heart.
The moment you thought you succeeded at last,
There was one detail that you've missed.
The warrior woman you knew in the past,
Nowadays doesn't exist.
You are just a stranger, adrift and alone,
Forgotten as the legends of Greece.
