Submission Guidelines
Attention all Xena and Ares writers! For all of you who write romantic stories about Xena and Ares, this is the place for you. If you would like to submit your stories, read the following guidelines below and then e-mail them to me at
axbfeaurora@hotmail.com.
-- All stories MUST be Xena/Ares related. They don't necessarily have to be strictly romantic- i.e romance/adventure etc. Ares cannot be paired with anyone but Xena unless he gets Xena in the end. Gabrielle/Ares romance stories will DEFINITELY not be allowed.
-- I prefer all stories to be complete (i.e. no "to be continues"). However, if you have a story like that, you may send it to me but please have it finished in a reasonable amount of time. That way, people don't have to wait and wait to find out how the story ends.
-- All stories must be submitted in a 'Text', 'Doc', or 'HTML' file.
-- The format of the story should not be in 70 character line spacing. The writing needs to go completely across the page, form margin to margin.

-- Stories must contain all of the following:
* Title
* Author
* E-mail address (if you really would not like your e-mail address shown, just tell me)
* Violence/sex/subtext disclaimer
* Copyright disclaimer
* Rating (G, PG, PG-13)
* Short summary

MUST not contain graphic scenes of violence or sex and there can be
NO subtext.
-- Cannot be an adult rated story (no NC17). After all, Xena (a PG rated TV show) is geared towards teenage viewers.
-- I read all stories and please check grammar and spelling before sending it. It makes my life MUCH easier. I should have the stories posted within a week and if you don't see them on the site after that, contact me because I probably forgot. If I don't respond for a while then I probably haven't had time to add them to the site but don't worry, they will be added eventually.
-- I also accept Xena/Ares poetry but they DON'T have to include a disclaimer. All they need is a title, author, and e-mail address.
That's all I require of the stories. The most important thing is to have fun, be creative, and use the stories to express your feelings. After all, we all believe that Xena and Ares belong together, don't we? And we all know that there can never be too many X/A fan fiction writers--the more the better. So, be heard and become a fan fiction writer!
