Character Name: Prudence Halliwell
Power: Telekinesis, Astral Projection
Ex-flames: Andy Trudeau (season 1), Jack Sheridan (season 2)
More about Prue:
Prue is the eldest sister in the original Power of Three and is gifted with the powers of telekinesis and astral projection. Telekinesis is the ability to move objects with the power of the mind (or in Prue's case, it's with her hands). Astral projection is the ability to be in two places at one time, something like a projection of the image. Prue's initial power was telekinesis through the mind. Later the power went to her hands as she got stronger. Her power of astral projection came in season 2.
Prue is the most bad tempered amongst the three sisters, and the one with an attitude. It's hard to blame her for acting the way she did because she was the one who gave everything up to raise her two younger sisters ever since the unfortunate passing of their grandmother, Penny Halliwell. Her temper is much better controlled in season 3.
Prue was killed by Shax (a wind hit-demon sent by the ultimate baddies, The Source) in season 3.

- (1995) Beat future Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano for the role of Rene in cult film Mallrats.

- Shannen had her wages garnisheed by California United Bank when she was on "90210" because she wrote nearly $32,000 worth of bad checks.

Personal Quotes:
"Let me start by saying it wasn't like I walked out one day and said, 'I quit.' It was a very long process of quitting the show. Aaron got as fed up with me as I was with the show, and I think it was because the notoriety was too much. People were hating the character and I couldn't take the abuse that came with that. People couldn't separate me from her and I got sick of people assuming that I was as naughty and bad as Brenda was. It was all very hurtful." - Cleo Magazine, August 2000
