Travelling through time has been a dream of humanity for as long as we can tell. Literature is awash with time travel adventures (The Time Machine, The Big Time), movies are made around it (Back to the Future, Time Bandits), and many physicists consider it the Holy Grail of theories. However, there is one thing many people do not realize: time travel is possible, right now. I will demonstrate this practice for you.

I can travel back in time. Unfortunately, I can only observe. The further back I go, the hazier the images become. If I go back in time before I was born, I can only see things as they have been reported to me, through other sources; books and oral tradition. Perhaps I am only seeing alternate realities, rather than the way things truly were. Perhaps these alternate realities are the way things were. Since we can only observe, and observation is the whole of reality, then these observations must be real...aren't they?

I can also go forward in time, at the rate of sixty seconds per minute. If I go any faster than that, again, I can only observe. The farther forward I go, the more time branches off into alternate realities. I can see as many of them as I wish; there is no limit to the number of alternate future timelines I can visit. These worlds are as real as the ones I can observe by travelling back in time; I can observe them; therefore, they carry their own reality.
