PROCESS OF ANALYSING THE EXAMPLES:

The inductive thinking  is made up three major processes:

  1. Concept formation and attainment (Stage 1,2,3)
  2. Interpretation of data (Stage 4,5,6,7 )
  3. application of principles /concept  (Stage 8 & 9)
( for stages of the syntax go to Stages of inductive thinking model )

The present model for the concept was based on structural approach of Hilda Taba's inductive method.

THE FINER ASPECTS AS LISTED FROM THE TEACHING GUIDE ANALYSIS IS GIVEN BELOW:
Syntax

  1. Listing an enumerating the examples
  • examples with reference to earlier knowledge
  • Provide oppurtunities to recall observations
  • Divide the students into small groups
  • Provide adequate time for observation
  • Record and prepare exhausitive list of data from the examples
2. Grouping
  • Search for common properties
  • Commonalities and if required form alternative groups to get insight into categorizartion
