:: BOARD ROOM ::
Clive McMartyn, or Mr. McMartyn as he like to be called, is the undisputed mastermind behind the Caerleon Wrestling Federation. It was his hard work, determination- and most importantly- his money that transformed the CWF from a small territorial Welsh wrestling company into the successful and widespread organisation it is today. Without Mr. McMartyn, there undoubtedly would be no CWF. Unfortunately, the CWF President's ego has prevented him from restricting his activities to the front office. Feeling that his authority was being compromised by the wrestlers in his company, Mr. McMartyn took charge, forming the feared McMartyn Corporation and attempting to control the actions of his employees with an iron hand. He used his power to make the lives of those who disobeyed him a misery, and to help his son win the CWF Championship. One individual would not tolerate such totalitarian behaviour however. Stone Cold Andy Morgan has continually opposed McMartyn's attempts to impose order mongst the ranks and over the years the two have engaged in battle after battle as the CWF President again and again tries to put the wrestler in his place.Mr. McMartyn's troubles with superstars such as Stone Cold Andy Morgan have even led him to participate in the ring from time-to-time. Despite not being an active wrestler on the roster, and being far older than most other competitors, Mr.McMartyn has actually won the CWF Championship in the past! 2001 saw a great shock for Mr. McMartyn, as his own son turned on him and bought his rival company, the CCW. The two promotions engaged in a fierce war as Andrew McMartyn tried his very hardest to put his own father out of business! Under McMartyn's leadership however, the CWF prevailed, and it was this victory andthe subsequent financial upturn that has allowed the CWF founder and President to once again attempt to stake his claim in the world of Wrestling.
Melanie 'Acid' Carter At the tender age of just 22, Melanie 'Acid' Carter now owns 25% of the CWF following a "business agreement" with Andrew McMartyn. Currently an active wrestler on roster, Acid- as most people call her- still finds time to juggle her responsibilites as the Vice President of the company and her in-ring obligations. Andrew McMartyn The only son of Clive and Jud McMartyn, Andrew McMartyn holds part owner-ship in the Caerleon Wrestling Federation. The younger McMartyn is the heir to the entire company however, meaning that one day he will possess unquestionable power as 75% owner of the CWF. Andrew has been an active wrestler in the CWF since it's very beginnings, and has held countless different titles during his long tenure. Despite being one of the very best competitors on the roster, if things do not go his way he is not above using his influence to get what he wants. For most of his career Andrew McMartyn had faithfully followed the wishes of his father, no more so than when he held the CWF Championship as the jewel in the crown of the McMartyn Corporation. In 2001 Andrew shocked the world when heturned on his father, left the CWF and bought the federation's main competition, Cardiff Championship Wrestling. For most of the year the two federations battledferociously with one another, each one trying it's hardest to put the competition out of business. The juvenile McMartyn's master plan was to ultimately fail however, as the CWF put the CCW out of business for good at the Soiree Series 2001.Andrew McMartyn had risked it all and lost! His future seemed an uncertain and unpleasant one. Showing the true fickleness of a McMartyn however, his father soon welcomed Andrew back into the CWF when he realised his son's usefulness in battling his enemies. He even gave Andrew back his part-ownership of the company, much to Jud McMartyn's chargrin. Click here to read Andrew McMartyn's full bio.
Despite the claims of Clive McMartyn, the CWF was not founded and nurtured by him and him alone. For years Jud McMartyn worked dillgently behind the scenes as the Chairwoman of the company, slowly but surely building the company up and ensuring it's continued success. Jud McMartyn has been forced to relocate from the boardroom to the arena by Clive's continual meddling in the day-to-day affairs of the federation and it's superstars. As the conscience of the CWF it has been Mrs. McMartyn's role to constantly right the wrongs done by the forceful and egotistical CWF President. Reluctant though she may be to intervene in non-business matters, Mr. McMartyn's now ex-wife will continue to keep a check on his activities and ensure that good ultimately prevails in the CWF.
